It is expected that Mojang will release Minecraft 1.11 on the 14th. The Spigot team expects to be able to put out a first release on the 19th or 20th. Assuming all goes according to schedule, and the necessary plugins update within a day, this means we should not expect to update to 1.11 until at LEAST the 21st. Now, predicting something like this is not something that works practically, and you should never expect it of anyone, but I’m going to try anyway. Given unpredictable factors and the close proximity to Thanksgiving, I expect us to be on 1.11 somewhere between the 26th and 30th. I dare not update a day (or two) before Thanksgiving due to availability during a very server unstable period. I usually relax the day after, often with family. This is a longer turnaround than the last two updates, but I take what I’m given. That said, there remains a small chance for us to update on the 21st, if everything goes incredibly smoothly or ahead of schedule (and the API changes aren’t too drastic). Cross your fingers.

But… I need… LLAMAS!!!!
Fingers crossed.
What’s the plan regarding the new maxEntityCramming rule?
The planning for that was poor. They acknowledged that weighted iron pressure plates max as 141+ and yet never addressed the discrepancy, as it kind of undermines the purpose of the block. They knew it would create a problem for existing contraptions, but never implemented a safeguard for existing worlds. It’s not as bad as auto-jumping, but it’s annoying that this keeps happening.
I will be using the setting, but initially only to replace one or two existing less efficient methods. Coincidentally my existing limit matches nicely with the weighted iron pressure plate, at around 150 but of the same entity type and in a larger radius. I think I’ll set it to 141, disable at least one of my scripting solutions, and then monitor the situation.
I should note that collisions like these really are the bane of servers. 24 only seems aggressive now that we’ve gotten used to compact mob grinders and there’s no hard collisions.
If you have any thoughts on the subject, I’m all ears.
Well, with the first release of Spigot 1.11 things are 3 days ahead of schedule, but I’m possibly coming down with a flu. I haven’t finished updating CommandHelper, but now I can start testing. Keep track here:

Flu scare went away. I think maybe my immune system got it early.
I’m glad that you didn’t get sick.
Well, Spigot releases were ahead of schedule, but there were a number of significant issues. I’m almost done with my CommandHelper updates, which should align fairly well with Spigot stability. On track for a 21st update! Hopefully there are no more hidden issues.
I think I’m ready. I finished my update to CommandHelper, which was the hard part. It’s hard to say what will break with plugins, but I didn’t run into any additional major issues and the Spigot bug tracker hasn’t picked up something major in a couple days. I’ll probably have to replace LogBlock soon, as it’s becoming increasingly lacking in new functionality support. Crossworld horse teleports don’t work again, but in-world teleports do. I’ll have to rewrite some scripts, but I can do that after.
Has it still not came out?
I just got the 4.07 update after buying the game for my ps4 mayhe half an hour ago, which gave me shulker boxes and a few other items but no 1.11
I didn’t get it on my Xbox or my ps4 and it’s getting irritating I can’t find any information anywhere.
I just want the llamas already.
The PS4 version is different than the PC version. I updated the server to 1.11 on November 21st, just a couple hours after my last comment. We’re currently on 1.11.2.
