We’ll be waiting for Bukkit on this one. There will be no temporary world and no update until Bukkit is determined to be stable enough. [edit: We’ve updated now.]
Here’s some notable changes:
– Bow Enchantments
— Arrows which are on fire now set entities they hit on fire.
– Golden Apple recipe (uses gold nuggets instead of gold blocks)
– Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
– Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
– Removed collision box from ladders (you can’t stand on the top)
– Sheep eat grass and regain their wool (so I’ll be removing the sheep plugins)
— As a counterbalance, shearing sheep now yields 1-3 wool instead of 2-4.
– Updated the Fence Gate collision and hit boxes to align with Fences
– Oak Leaves now have a 1/200 chance of dropping a Red Apple
– Walking no longer tramples farmland, only jumping
– Decreased randomness of Enchantment Tables
– More snow in cold biomes (ie. more climate change coming)
– Fixed collision box on fence gates
– Fence Gates can now be opened and closed with redstone
– Magma Cubes now drop Magma Cream
– Melons and Pumpkins can now grow on Dirt, instead of just on Farmland.
Here is a link to the 1.0.0 jar!!! If you have updated (like me) just download this and put it in your minecraft/bin and rename “minecraft.jar”. rename the 1.1 minecraft.jar as “minecraft_org.jar”.
For mac, find your minecraft folder in Home/Library/Application Support/minecraft
For windows, search “%AppData%” and go in there and find minecraft.
🙂 Hope this helps!

Woops to enable the Home Library folder on mac, follow this tutorial:

So when do you think bukkit is coming out? Im going to be stuck with single player ontill it does. IM SOOOOOO BORED ON SINGLEPLAYER!
People can still play on the server. It’s just not using 1.1 yet. Jaysoncopes kindly provided a 1.0 minecraft.jar for those that updated without a backup.
The one I gave you a link to was kinda a Japanese version or something… I’ll get a link to the correct one, though! 😀 If you wanna use this one you can. It’s legible.
Everytime it asks me to update i always do yes now i dont know how to get back on 1.0
Ok, here’s a (hopefully) english version! It’s downloading on my computer (my internet’s really slow right now…) but here it is! The site was english… not media fire this time. 🙂

Okay, I didn’t realize you were linking to non-official minecraft.jar’s. I’m going to put up my own.
Lol I couldn’t find the official one online. I kinda upgraded on accident… 🙂 All I had was a modded one that I kinda broke. 🙂 Haha go ahead and feel free to upload your own.
I did so. I didn’t have vanilla this time around, since the update was sudden. But the mods are good and recommended.
I just wanted people to have a source they could trust.
Would you like me to try and un-mod my original official 1.0.0 .jar and upload it to mediafire?
Un-mod? That’s not even possible. You have to have the original classes, and unless you have multiple jars of different combinations of mods that amazingly don’t overlap, it won’t work. The modded ones are fine. They’re temporary anyway, and someone may end up really liking the mods I use. (both of those have features that REALLY should be built into MC, without question)
I used mcpatcher. I bet I can un-patch it.
Well… I’ve certainly had plenty of time to do server maintenance.
Ok, here is my own, officially downloaded minecraft.jar. I kinda had to dig for it but I was bored out of my MIND without the server anyways!! 😛 Here is the private link to it:

The server is still up… what do you mean bored out of your mind without it?
I couldn’t find a working 1.0.0 jar before. 🙂 Now I found it.
thanks jay!
No prob! Hope to see you on sometime!!
