I should pester them to finish something in frog park.
What should I prioritize? In place but currently non-functional include the PvP Arena & Cluck. “SandTemple Adventure” & “Underwater Palace” are still a ways off.

I really should finish Tower Control 2v2. I’m sorry, I slacked on that one (keep getting caught up in personal projects). No promises, but I’ll finish it soon (I think all I’m really missing is a way to notify the winner and start/stop/reset the game through CH… which I think I had done before I crashed a few months back).
September 19, 2012 at 11:01 pm #2519PseudoKnightMemberI’ve started to build a thing in the desert area; I hope that’s all right. At worst, it’ll be some neat room to discover. Heh. I want to make it a catacomb where you can only place torches. I have no idea what your plans for the SandTemple Adventure are.
Should I move Tower Control 2v2 into the park? It seems like 95% ready as it is and we can do the finishing touches on location. But where to put it?
September 20, 2012 at 4:25 am #2526NefyoniModeratorThe SandTemple Adventure was a vague idea of a use for a structure asdialed wanted to build. The idea was you could go in (with or without friends) and get trapped and have to find your way out without breaking any blocks, but less a maze and more like exploring an ancient temple. The whole getting trapped idea is what we were going to work out first since falling sand is difficult to reset. That sand trap that would suffocate you was a design for a room.
But, the last update added similar things, so it hasn’t really been a priority.
As for Tower Control 2v2, the area I had set aside for SkyRace should work fine (the square over the co-op course). The thing with SkyRace is it’s in the sky – it can go anywhere.
September 22, 2012 at 8:18 pm #2538NefyoniModeratorOhio says Cluck just needs Infdisp and then it’s ready.
September 25, 2012 at 2:14 am #2542PseudoKnightMemberWe talked already, but it already had infdisp. There’s still some reliability issues, though, as you pointed out. I personally would like a scoring method too.
September 25, 2012 at 10:07 am #2544NefyoniModeratorHow likely would it be to be able to do something where when you step on – it turns on for a certain amount of time – and then you kill as many as you can – then after the time runs out it reports how many you killed and if possible your longest streak without missing a shot (which I can ‘t think of how but that would be cool).
September 25, 2012 at 7:20 pm #2545PseudoKnightMemberThe only scoring method I can think of with just redstone would be counting chicken loot. It’d require a more specific shooting gallery configuration so that drops are consistent.
Otherwise I’d just redo the whole thing with CH. I can spawn a mob and it returns the entity id. So I can check if they’re dead or not. It’d also give us more control over difficulty scaling.
September 26, 2012 at 1:17 pm #2548NefyoniModeratorThat might be the way to go. There’s a lot of redstone work in that area and I don’t know if that’s a good thing.
