    If you are trying to connect and getting and error that looks like this

    Failed to login: java.io.IOExeption: Server returned HTTP response code: http:// session.minecraft.net/game/joinserver.isp2user=(NAME)&sessionID= (large series of numbers) serverID (nother series of numbers)

    The service is currently down, will hopefully be back soon. This is also a helpful page for status of Minecraft services.
