    It IS a monday. You can’t expect people to be camping the forums all day 😛

    A forum is dead because ~2 hours after you post there’s no response?
    Also, you could read previous threads on the forum. Like this one, as it relates.

    I wasn’t available to restart the server into offline mode at the time.

    The forums are as alive as you want them to be. Most people prefer to talk in-game, no surprise. I post things here that need to be long term discussions… thus, 2 hours before a response is normal. It’s not a chat room.

    I should add that login servers going down means almost all Minecraft servers go down. At least we have a contingency for that now. Unfortunately there’s no available way to automate it. It requires a manual restart.

    If the forums had died, we should have totally done a funeral for them.
    When I post I don’t usually check for a response until a day has passed. If I want faster communication I use other methods.
