Well, the second major dev release has finally come, and it came with a little surprise fix for a bug that I wasn’t aware of. You know how I disabled DynMap update renders as a precaution? It turned out to be more prudent than I had even considered. There was a major craftbukkit bug that caused mini rollbacks due to chunk load/unloads, and DynMap exacerbated the issue for many people. Whole chunks would revert, as they wouldn’t save themselves when they unloaded. You see, it pays to be cautious. 🙂
